Swimming pool - National Sports and Culture Centre d'Coque

Recognisable thanks to its unusual architecture, the Coque Aquatic Centre (www.coque.lu) in Luxembourg-Kirchberg has no fewer than twenty different pools (one of which is Olympic sized). Its diving tower and diving tank are unique in Luxembourg. Ideal for relaxing in warm surroundings, the Coque Centre also has saunas, Turkish baths and whirlpools. Excursion by horse-drawn carriage

See the superb Our nature reserve by horse-drawn carriage. Various routes are available, from the trip from Drauffelt railway station to the “A Robbesscheier” open-air museum in Munshausen up to a day-long excursion by horse-drawn carriage.

Special arrangements can be for individual tours and events (weddings, etc.).

Constant efforts have been made to facilitate the accommodation of wheelchairs and children’s pushchairs. The horse-drawn carriages can take up to three wheelchairs at a time, allowing users to experience this unique adventure.

Daily tours through the “A Robbesscheier” open-air museum also give you the chance to decide on the spur of the moment.

Transport from Drauffelt railway station to Munshausen is available for € 50 per horse-drawn carriage one way and € 80 return.
The one-day hike (Drauffelt railway station – Wilwerwiltz – Pintsch – Munshausen – Drauffelt) with lunch and a visit to the “A Robbesscheier” open-air museum is available for € 55 per person.

The Vallee de l’Our brasserie

Before the eyes of visitors, beer is brewed at Cornelyshaff using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients: malt, hops and, depending on the type of beer, various sorts of cereals.

The beer is neither filtered nor pasteurised nor stabilised. This means that it is possible to safeguard the healthiest ingredients such as the vitamins or minerals.

Thanks to modern technical equipment, the basic ingredients and energy are used as efficiently as possible and promote optimal quality in general. After maturing, the beers are bottled, stored in barrels or savoured immediately under the best possible conditions.

Exotic butterfy garden

The butterfly garden is an idyllic spot for nature lovers. Located in Grevenmacher, the wine centre on the banks of the Moselle, a greenhouse covering 600 m2 is just waiting for you to explore it.

Explore the tropical garden

And admire the butterflies all around you. With a temperature of 27° and humidity of 70%, plants and butterflies grow in a specially created atmosphere.

Learn about the fascinating lifecycle of the butterfly. After mating, the females lay their eggs, which develop into caterpillars, then chrysalides and finally become marvellous butterflies.

Relax and enjoy a host of plants, marvels from other regions, with flowers as colourful as the butterflies, birds, Chinese quails, the chameleon and the bees.

Caves Bernard-Massard (sparkling wine)

Au coeur de la vallée mosellane la maison familiale Bernard-Massard vous ouvre ses portes !

C'est son expérience de chef de caves en Champagne qui amena l'oenologue luxembourgeois, Jean Bernard-Massard à s’établir sur les rives de la Moselle pour y fonder son entreprise en 1921 en compagnie de quelques amis oenophiles. La région lui semblait rassembler tous les critères qualitatifs nécessaires à la production de grands vins : qualité des sols des collines bordant la rivière, exposition et climat tempéré.

Dans un premier temps, la société concentra son activité sur l'élaboration exclusive de vins effervescents selon la méthode dite «champenoise». Mais son implantation mosellane et la personnalité de son premier président, Bernard Clasen, la conduisirent rapidement à diversifier sa production et à vinifier également des vins blancs de la Moselle Luxembourgeoise.

Les cuvées « Bernard-Massard » les plus réputées sont depuis de nombreuses décennies la Cuvée Sélection Brut, la Cuvée de l’Ecusson Brut et enfin la Cuvée Bernard-Massard « Brut Millésimé » Crémant de Luxembourg.

Reconnues pour leur savoir faire et la constance qualitative de leurs grands vins effervescents, les Caves Bernard-Massard font partie du cercle restreint des fournisseurs de la cour du Luxembourg.

La confiance d’une clientèle fidèle ainsi que les nombreux prix remis par des Guides et Concours Prestigieux tels que le « Guide Hachette », les « Vinalies Internationales de Paris», le « Concours National des Crémants », le « Concours Mondial de Bruxelles », « l’International Wine & Spirit Competition de Londres » ou « Mundus Vini en Allemagne » ne font que témoigner de la qualité des produits Bernard-Massard.

With a vineyard that stretches over 800 ha and a share of almost two-thirds of the national wine production, the Domaines de Vinsmoselle are by far the biggest producer of wines and cremant wines in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and, given the diversity of the vineyards involved and the vast array of cultural commitments, the acknowledge ambassador of the entire Luxembourg Moselle region.

The wine-making circuit is reserved for group. From 1.5 to 31.8 from Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Closed on Sunday and on public holidays. During the other months visits by prior arrangement.

The fee includes a glass of wine or grape juice.

The pleasure boats "Roude Léiw" et "Musel III"

In Remich, the "Roude Léiw" and "Musel III" boats offer daily excursions from March to December from 11.15 AM to 6 PM.

Embarkation for a ride on the pleasure boats "Roude Léiw" and "Musel". Accompanied and culinary boat trips.

The excursions are taking place on the luxembourgish Moselle between Sierck-les Bains in France and Wasserbillig. On request also in Saarburg and Mettlach in Germany.
